Customise stylesheets

Your Messaging Engine site can be fully customised by using CSS stylesheets. You can even offer your customers a choice of stylesheets. To see what is possible, see this library of stylesheets for one Messaging Engine partner site.

CSS is a simple technology to learn. If you're not already familiar with it, we suggest completing this w3schools tutorial.

We recommend starting with an existing stylesheet template and then customising as you require. To do this, start by going to this stylesheet tester, and select a stylesheet you like. Then, select 'view raw CSS' from the View menu, and copy the source into a new document. Call this document c:\custom.css (this step requires Windows and Internet Explorer).

Now, log into your Messaging Engine site, click Options, and then Account Preferences. Under 'Display Style' choose 'Custom', then click done. You can now see how your site looks with your new stylesheet. When it is complete, simply email it to us and we will update your production site.
